

The Mine Creek Gravel Battle offers a fantastic blend of adventure, history, and sport, allowing participants to ride through the historic terrain of the Battle of Mine Creek while also learning about the dramatic events that unfolded there in 1864. The third annual Mine Creek Gravel Battle is a self supported gravel bike ride that starts and finishes in downtown Mound City, Kansas. The ride utilizes the trails, gravel and dirt roads of rural Kansas. The 100 and 50 kilometer event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Entry fee of $70.
First person over the finish line wins. Please plan on meeting at The Coyote Tasting Room at the finish line for food, beer, and wine.
